“Where did the dinghy go?”

Our Silly Video Gallery

I've collected a few videos that I've made over the past couple of years.  I can't say they are good or even exciting, but they are fun for me to watch and in the end isn't that what matters?

Road Trip 2012 take 2 (part 2)

Mountain biking and hiking from Arkanas to Maryland. We hit all the major parks along the way including the Smoky Mountains and hiking along the spine of the Appalachians. Let Jordan drag you down the trail along with us.... (take 2 uses a different sound track due to problems with some songs being blocked in the US).

Crater Lake and Wason Falls

Foggy, snowy and icy times at Crater Lake July 2010. We also stopped by Watson Falls which fell so far that it was just a spray at the bottom.

The WAVE Cave

Imagine you're walking the beach and you suddenly hear a roar from a cliff wall. Then as you look into the darkness a large wave crashes and surges through the cave and onto beach. The wave cave is only found in Mexico in a very secret location.

Huatulco Tsunami

This is normally a small canal with no water moving at all. When the Tsunami from Chili came the water levels rose and fell 4-5 in this canal multiple times. It hit a max of a 3 foot rise and fall. I captured a little bit of video while the water was draining. Yeah it's boring to watch, but it was running in and out like a river which was a bit nerve wracking because we only have a few feet of depth below our keel. Nearby in the town, many pangas were sunk and a large cruise ship immediately left the dock and headed out for deeper water.

NICARAGUAN WEDDING

Ron and Diane from Batwing have been living in sin for too long.  So in the beautiful country of Nicaragua they had a quiet wedding on the beach with their daughter and several friends.  Oh, and by the way Sherrell made the cake (vegan too)!

Sea of Cortez

Travel north with us in this disjointed and often difficult to follow film as we run north to escape the hurricane belt. We sail from Mazatlan all the way to Bay of LA with photos from many of the areas along the way. There are some really beautiful places in Mexico and this summer trip will probably stay in our memories forever.

Northern Sea of Cortez

We spent the summer of 2005 hiding from hurricanes in the top of the Sea of Cortez. It worked! We also met great friends and sailed around some of the islands most people never see. Featured here are islands and areas around the Bay of LA (Bahia de Los Angeles).

Tequila Mexico

The narrator was very sick when this video was slapped together. We took a trip to Tequila Mexico and toured the area including Jose Cuervos factory. The quality of the photos gets a little worse towards the end of the tour. But watch the film just so you can hear the congested narrator try to stumble through the film.

Attack of Sponge Bob!

In a surreal twist, a traveling carnival came to the tiny village at Bay of LA. The entire family performed like slaves but everyone seemed happy and excited to be there. Where else can you find a father lighting rags on sticks doused with gasoline for his 8 year-old to juggle? This little video was made from some of those photos, in which I wove a much more complex tale than what was presented to us.
